Kyle & Chloe
T-minus 3 weeks until these beautiful humans say “I do” and I am SO freaking excited for them!! Kyle and Chloe’s love story has been one that has stayed close to my heart since the day that they met.
I met Chloe three years ago working at a local restaurant, the summer between my first and second year at college. She was one of the first girls I talked to, and we instantly got along. Her sweet personality and goofy humor always lit up our workplace with smiles. One day, Chloe came into work, and excitedly told all the girls about this date she was going to go on! In the following weeks, we were all excited to hear updates as she got to know Kyle better.
About three or four months into their relationship I had the privilege to meet this guy Kyle that I had heard so much about! I was back in school looking for a couple to be in one of my video projects, and the two of them quickly agreed to help me out! From the first time seeing the two of them together, even at that early stage of their relationship, there was not a doubt in my mind that these two were made for each other. Their playful spirits complemented each other so perfectly, while being balanced with a beautiful closeness in their quieter moments.
My heart was so happy when I heard the news that Kyle and Chloe had gotten engaged! When they asked me to capture their engagement and upcoming wedding photos, I was beyond thrilled to continue capturing their love story.
For their engagement session, we spent the afternoon downtown Edmonton, starting off at the beautiful Muttart Conservatory, then moving to Whyte Avenue to capture a more urban scene for this stylish, down-to-earth couple. And let me tell you, we had an absolute BLAST! These two cuties were almost non stop laughs, and instantly became comfortable in front of the camera. Between sweating our butts off in the tropical pyramid at the Muttart, to facing a crazy 2 minute spring windstorm on Whyte that almost blew Chloe’s hat away, there was never a dull moment. All crazy climates (or as Chloe said afterwards- ‘menopausal weather’), that we faced that day was well worth it for the amazing photos we captured together. I seriously can’t wait to be a part of the next chapter of their beautiful love story! <3
